The town of Wallingford, Connecticut, has been around since 1667, generally without making enough noise to entice too many outsiders to visit (although native son Morton Downey Jr. was certainly loud enough during his time on Earth). So, it was something of a surprise to learn that Led Zeppelin, The Who, Tina Turner and countless other world-famous entertainers have spent some time in this humble Hartford-area town.
